An AI that lives in your Discord server.

NixyGPT talks like a member of the server. It joins voice calls and speaks, reads the files you paste, remembers what matters to your server and looks things up on the web. It will help keep the chat civil while it does all that.

What it does

Everything you'd want from a member, none of the syntax.

There are no commands to memorise. Mention it, DM it, or just talk in the call, and it works out what you meant.

πŸ“Ž

Reads what you drop in chat

Paste a stack trace, a config file, a CSV or a screenshot and it reads it. Text files are pulled in whole, images go to a vision model. If it can't open something, it tells you why instead of pretending it never arrived.

πŸŽ™οΈ

Real voice, real manners

Joins the call, understands speech and answers out loud, but only when it is being spoken to. When you're talking to each other, it stays quiet.

🧠

Remembers your server

Inside jokes, preferences, who does what. Memory is per-server and yours to inspect or wipe from the dashboard at any time.

πŸ”Ž

Looks things up

Live web search for anything current, a real Python interpreter for anything that should be calculated rather than guessed, and reminders that actually fire.

πŸ›‘οΈ

Moderation that fits you

Write your house rules in plain English and it enforces those rather than somebody else's idea of them. Start in log-only mode and watch it for a while before you let it act.

🎭

A different bot per server

Its name, personality, voice and rules are set per server. Run it as a helpful assistant in one and something with far more attitude in another.

🎚️

Calms busy channels

Dynamic slow mode reads the traffic in a channel and eases the delay up as things get hectic, then puts it back when they settle.

Try it before you add it.

NixyGPT lives in its own Discord server and it's open to everyone. Talk to it there, drop a file in and watch it read it, or pull it into a voice call, all without touching your own server's settings. It's also where the bot gets built in the open, and suggestions posted there do get made.

Questions

The things people ask first.

Can I try it without adding it to my server?

Yes, that's what the official NixyGPT Discord is for. Everything works there: chat, voice, file reading, tools. It's also where you can post feature suggestions, report bugs and get help, so it's worth sticking around even after you've added the bot to your own server.

Do I need to learn any commands?

No. There are no slash commands. Mention it in a channel, send it a DM, or just talk while it's in a voice call. Asking it to join or leave a call is a normal sentence, not a command.

What counts against my daily limit?

Only the replies it sends, in text and voice alike. Messages it ignores cost nothing. Servers share one quota tied to whoever owns the plan; direct messages have their own separate allowance.

Can it read files I upload?

Text files, yes. Code, logs, .json, .csv, .md, config files and similar are read inline. Images go to a vision model. It can't open PDFs, office documents or archives, and it will say so plainly rather than guess.

Will it moderate things I don't want moderated?

Only what you ask it to. Moderation is off until you enable it, and you can restrict it to your own written rules and nothing else. It also starts in log-only mode, so you can watch its judgement for a while before letting it delete anything.

Something's broken. How do I report it?

Use the support form. Bug reports, questions, feature requests and billing problems all go through it, straight to the people who build NixyGPT. No account needed. Tell us what you expected, what actually happened and which server it was on, and we can usually find it in the logs.

What data do you keep?

Your server settings, the facts it has explicitly been asked to remember, and reply counts for quota. Memory is per-server and visible in the dashboard, and you can wipe part of it or all of it whenever you like.

How do payments work?

Through Stripe's own hosted checkout. Card details never touch our servers, and you can cancel or manage the subscription yourself from the billing portal in your dashboard.

Give your server someone worth talking to.

Free to start, no card, and about a minute to set up. If it isn't a fit, remove it in one click.
